Primary Program (ages 3-6)
Overview
A five-day week program with options for full, half day, or a combination schedule.
In the primary classroom (ages 3-6), the child has “uninterrupted work time.” This is a large block time for children to receive lessons and settle into their curriculum where they are not interrupted unnecessarily. The students take the initiative to choose curriculum items from the multitude of shelves for discovery and learning. The multi-age classroom setting provides the opportunity for older children to serve as role models for the younger children, a job they truly cherish. The curriculum for this age group includes math, science including botany and zoology, reading, writing, music, Spanish, art, geography, and cultural studies.
When: Five days a week schedule with half or full day option.
Duration: 8:30- 3:30 (with before and after care available from 7 am to 5:30 pm)

I have two daughters that attended Montessori since they were infants. The oldest is now 5. This school is amazing! Small class sizes and immersive learning styles teach them how to be engaged in what they are doing. We recently were able to sit in on a class for an hour, and it’s so cute seeing them all get to work on projects they decide to do and have a snack when they want to. They are very independent while getting valuable lessons. My five-year-old, hat just started kindergarten, knows continents, and some individual countries, learning simple math, sounding out words, and so much more.
Daily Schedule
*Five day a week schedule required.
8:30: Morning Circle
8:45 – 11:00: Uninterrupted work time
11:00 – 11:30: Music circle
11:30: 1/2 -day dismissal
11:30: Outside playtime
12:00: Lunch
12:30: Afternoon Montessori extension lessons
1:00 – 2:30: Nap (if your child does not nap, they will follow a Montessori extension afternoon schedule)
3:00: Closing afternoon circle
3:30: Dismissal
Before and After Care Available
7 AM TO 5:30 PM DAILY
Students will have access to their full Montessori curriculum as well as other extension activities.
